This dimerization greatly reduces the efficiency of some coupling reaction experiments (such as DNA fixation in biosensors); The dimerization of DNA can be reduced by adding tri (2-carboxyethyl) phosphine hydrochloride (TCEP hydrochloride) to the DNA solution and removing it after a period of reaction.

Tri (2-carbonylethyl) phosphate hydrochloride is an organic phosphorus compound, which can be used as a water-soluble reagent.It is used for selective reduction of disulfide. It is more stable than DTT in mass spectrometry application.After alkalization, the water-soluble ligand can be simply removed from the ruthenium based metathesis catalyst by washing the crude product of the reaction in water.
