Applications:
Dioctyl adipate is a typical cold-resistant plasticizer of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene copolymer, polystyrene, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose and synthetic rubber. It has high plasticizing efficiency and small thermal discoloration, which can give products good low softness and light resistance, and the hand sensitivity of products is good, with cold resistance, low softness and light resistance.
Preparation:
(1) After adipic acid pretreatment, the raw material adipic acid was heated to 80℃ and kept warm for 45 minutes, and then continued to heat up, and then dehydrated under vacuum at 95℃ to the water content of 0.3%, the vacuum degree of 0.06MPa, waiting for use;
(2) Pretreatment of octanol to obtain raw material octanol, frozen at -10℃ for 50 minutes, use 100 mesh screening twice, remove, centrifuge separation, take the supernatant, wait for use;
(3) In esterification reaction, the treated adipic acid and octanol are placed in the reactor according to the molar ratio of 1:2, in which the octanol is first added, the temperature of the reactor is raised to 90℃, the temperature is kept warm for 10 minutes, and then adipic acid is added, and then the catalyst of 1% mass fraction of adipic acid is added after rapid stirring with a mixer of 90r/min for 8 minutes. Increase the stirring speed to 200r/min during the heating process; When the temperature is increased to 180℃, add 45% adipic acid with water, heat preservation, reduce the stirring speed to 30r/min, and continue to react for 3 hours to obtain crude product;
(4) Purified finished product The crude product after deacidification, drying, vacuum distillation, filtration, the finished product; Further, the catalyst is prepared by mixing double p-toluene sulfonic acid and concentrated sulfuric acid with a mass fraction of 98% according to a mass ratio of 1:12; Further, the water-carrying agent is prepared by mixing toluene, petroleum ether and ethyl acetate according to a mass ratio of 30:3:5.
